Despite another spate of postponements and cancelations this week, we get another nice selection of college football games for our Saturday DFS slates. While we wouldn’t want to touch Army-Navy with a 10-foot pole, several other games on the day slate stand to be potential shootouts.

Here are six players to consider for your rosters.

Quarterbacks

JT Daniels, Georgia ($8,200 on DraftKings, $7,600 on FanDuel) – Daniels didn’t have to do much against South Carolina, as the Bulldogs gashed the Gamecocks on the ground for 336 yards. The Mizzou defense this week should be a little stouter, and we could see a shootout, with oddsmakers expecting Georgia to score close to 40 points while the game still remains somewhat competitive. Daniels is particularly cheap on FanDuel this week.

Clayton Tune, Houston ($7,800 on DK, Game not on FD) – The poor Cougars can’t seem to catch a break during the pandemic, missing close to half of their games so far in 2020 due to outbreaks among themselves or other teams. That’s helped make Tune something of a forgotten man, but he’s been solid when he’s been able to play and has averaged 27.3 DFS points per game on DraftKings. The Houston-Memphis game should be a competitive shootout.

Running Backs

Javonte Williams, North Carolina ($7,000 on DK, $9,700 on FD) – Williams’ salary dropped after a couple of duds, with his running mate Michael Carter now more expensive in salary on DraftKings. But it’s Williams who’s proven more consistent over the course of the season, despite the recent contests. The Tar Heels should find themselves in a high-scoring scrap with Miami on Saturday.

Isaih Pacheco, Rutgers ($4,500 on DK, Game not on FD) – Don’t sleep on this potential salary saver. Pacheco gets nearly 15 carries and two receptions per game, and the Scarlet Knights could put up points on the porous Maryland defense this week.

Wide Receivers

Dez Fitzpatrick, Louisville ($5,800 on DK, $7,900 on FD) – The senior has already blown up in recent games, with eight catches for 182 yards and a touchdown against Boston College. Add in the news that Tutu Atwell will skip the rest of the season to prepare for the NFL Draft and you’ve got the potential for a slate breaker at a moderate salary.

Tahj Washington, Memphis ($5,100 on DK, Game not on FD) – Washington has been a consistent performer this year, scoring below nine DFS points on DK in just one game, and averaging 15 on the year. He could be a big part of the action in that likely Houston-Memphis shootout.
