With their Miss Kitty slot machine, Aristocrat is aiming to turn even the most ardent dog lovers into friends of the feline. With a quirky 5x4 layout and a seriously rewarding bonus round, we think that they might just manage it…
In our Miss Kitty slot review, we'll be looking to determine whether or not the game's theoretical maximum payout of $100,000 is enough to offset slightly dated graphics and a fairly low RTP of less than 95%. Read on to find out!

Slotocash Casino is powered by Realtime Gaming (RTG) and offers a classy approach to online gambling. What the casino lacks in game offerings, it makes up for in quality. They truly favor quality over quantity and that's also evident in the welcome bonus that Slotocash offers. Despite its extra row, making for a 5x4 layout with 50 paylines, Miss Kitty slots aren't all that different to most 5x3 games. It's got an exciting bonus round, which favors Sticky Wilds over the feature multipliers that similar titles often take advantage of.
The graphics and sounds of the game aren't anything mind-blowing but, for something first released back in 2011, the Miss Kitty Vegas slot game is pretty slick. Plus, for its three top paying symbols, you only need to land 2 on an active payline to win something. If you've ever played an Aristocrat slot before, the whole experience will feel very familiar. If not, this is a great one to start with.
A Miss Kitty slot machine game actually offers a lot of flexibility for players. You can choose how many paylines you want to cover, in increments of 10 for the most part, as well as change your bet per line. As a result, it's possible to bet anything from a couple of cents per spin all the way up to $100. Penny slots fans and high rollers alike should find plenty to like about Miss Kitty!
In Miss Kitty slots, 5 Fish symbols will net you 100x your original bet per line. Bear in mind that this is the number to the left of your total bet, so will be much smaller than you might initially think. The game really helps out players by stacking the Fish symbol on the reels, along with plenty of Kitty Wilds.
As ever, the bonus round is one of the best places to win big. We'll talk more about this feature below but, with Sticky Wilds appearing on reels 2, 3, 4 and 5, it's plain to see that there's potential for some big payouts here.
The game's 'jackpot' is actually very low, $200 when playing at Max Bet, but 10 perfect spins during the bonus round could theoretically see you landing as much as $100,000 from a single spin.

Miss Kitty slots has a Return To Player percentage of 94.76%. It might sound on the low side, because it is, but it's similar to that of other Aristocrat games such as Where's The Gold. It means that players might find themselves in the middle of dry spells with some regularity when playing a Miss Kitty casino game.
Then again, if you're on a lucky streak, you might find the game far more rewarding than its RTP suggests.
Volatility and variance are concepts that relate to how risky playing a slot feels. With a comparatively low RTP and some solid payouts, Miss Kitty is a medium (edging towards high) volatility game. But what exactly does that mean for players?
In practice, this means that it might pay out less frequently than lower volatility games but will usually award larger sums of cash when it does. As opposed to the many regular, but small, wins awarded by less risky games.
We'd argue that it's worth that risk, but you might need to adjust the level of your stake to accommodate for the danger of going through cold streaks without any wins.
As we've mentioned above, Miss Kitty is a little coy about revealing her maximum jackpot. The game's base jackpot stands at just $200 when playing at Max Bet. Line up a few Sticky Wild during the bonus rounds, however, and you could multiply that prize many times over. It's not on the same level as progressive jackpots, but Miss Kitty's winnings are still very competitive.
Land 3 Scatter symbols, indicated by a cloudy moon in this game, and you'll be transported to the Miss Kitty bonus round. Here, you'll be granted 10 free spins. Unfortunately, there are no multipliers in sight, but the feature benefits massively from the addition of Sticky Wilds.
Any Kitty Wilds that appear during your free spins will remain in place for the rest of the round. The earlier they appear, the more helpful they'll be for you as the feature unfolds.
We're always interested to see slots that deviate from the '10-15 free spins, 2 or 3x multiplier' bonus round format. Miss Kitty's Sticky Wilds can be incredibly lucrative, and we might even prefer them to the typical bonus feature.
Playing Miss Kitty free casino slots, and other games of this type, is always a good idea for new slot players who are unfamiliar with how video slots work. Doing so allows you to become familiar with the rules of the game without risking any of your own money.
Beyond that, playing for free is also useful because it can give you an approximate idea of how often the game pays out, how regularly its bonus round triggers and so on. This information will help you to set your bet level in a way that gives you better odds of success if and when you switch to playing with real money.
Adding an extra row to a video slot like the Miss Kitty slot machine game is, potentially, a recipe to make things feel very cramped. We're happy to say, however, that this isn't the case here. Rejigged for smartphones and tablets in 2015, Aristocrat have done a really nice job of porting Miss Kitty slots for smaller screens.
In many ways, the 5x4 layout is actually better suited to mobile devices in landscape format than 5x3 video slots are because it results in less empty space being wasted. The result is a really appealing slot to use while you're on the move.
Plus, the relative scarcity of bonus rounds in the game means that gamblers shouldn't feel too concerned about playing until they reach a feature; it's possible to jump in, land some standard play wins and log off.
By adding an extra row, and several extra paylines as a result, Aristocrat definitely deserves some credit for Miss Kitty's twist on typical 5x3 gameplay.
It certainly isn't the only slot that offers different gameplay mechanics in 2020, but it was one of the earlier games to do so. The game makes good use of Sticky Wilds too, even though it wasn't the first slot to introduce them to the world.
At the time of writing, there's no Miss Kitty sequel and we haven't heard any whispers that Aristocrat are working on one. That makes sense, since the original game does everything you would expect it to and there are no obvious areas in which they could improve or iterate on the game.

As soon as we sat down to write our Miss Kitty slot review, we knew it'd deliver on its promise as one of Aristocrat's best slot games. The game's 5x4 layout, while not revolutionary, offers a slightly different experience to the usual 5x3 experience and it has some good payouts available.
Its bonus round is a lot of fun, although we'd like to see either a few extra spins or a multiplier added into the mix, since Sticky Wilds can be hit or miss. It can also take a while to trigger the bonus feature sometimes.
Miss Kitty is starting to show her age, with much flashier games on the market in 2020. That said, it doesn't look tired just yet. This cat may not have all nine lives left, but there's still plenty of enjoyment (and wins!) to be had with Miss Kitty.
For Miss Kitty slot, we give this game a rating of 8.5/10. To learn more about our assessment and grading of casinos and games, check out our How We Rate page. We work closely with the independent regulatory bodies below to ensure every player on our site has a secure and reliable experience.

Released almost a decade ago, Miss Kitty isn't exactly a new kid on the block anymore. Despite that, it still looks pretty solid and its 5x4 layout remains a break from the norm among swathes of 5x3 video slots.
Miss Kitty's RTP stands at 94.76%, which is on par with many other Aristocrat games. However, it's difficult to reconcile that with the fact that many other modern slots offer an RTP of 96-97%. Of course, the reality is that results will vary considerably from these figures over the course of a playing session anyway.
Yes! Miss Kitty doesn't let you automate your play through until you trigger a feature, as some games do, but it does let you choose from a selection of automatic spins – set the game running for 1, 10, 25, 50, 75 or 100 spins while you head off and take care of other things. Hopefully, when you come back, it'll be to a big win.
You sure can. As they have done with many of their games, Aristocrat revamped both Miss Kitty free casino slots and the real money version for use on mobile devices back in 2015. The result is a slot that you can now enjoy on iPhone, Android etc. as well as laptops and desktops. Plus, we think the game's 5x4 layout works really well on mobile devices.
