With four teams remaining in the hunt to win Super Bowl 56 after a sensational weekend of playoff football, the Kansas City Chiefs are the favorite at +120 odds, followed by the Los Angeles Rams (+200), San Francisco 49ers (+450), and Cincinnati Bengals (+800).

The Green Bay Packers were the consensus favorites to win the Super Bowl at DraftKings since mid-December when they surged ahead of the Tampa Bay Bucs. However, the top-seeded Packers were upset at home by the San Francisco 49ers and saw their playoff run end with a dud.

Now, all signs point toward the LA Rams hosting the Kansas City Chiefs at the home field at SoFi Stadium in Super Bowl 56.

The #4 Rams square off against divisional rival the #6 San Francisco 49ers in the NFC Championship Game next Sunday, with the Rams a -3.5 favorite. The #2 Kansas City Chiefs host the #4 Cincinnati Bengals in the AFC Championship on Sunday, but the Bengals find themselves an underdog by a touchdown at +7.

Chiefs +120

The Kansas City Chiefs have been the top team in the AFC for the past three seasons, and they’re one win away from their third straight trip to the Super Bowl. Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Bucs pulled off the upset in Super Bowl 55 last year to dethrone the Chiefs and thwart back-to-back championships, but the Chiefs are now two victories away from winning their second title in three seasons.

Patrick Mahomes saved his best performance of the season for the AFC Divisional Round against the Buffalo Bills, which is being dubbed the greatest game in NFL playoffs history and even better than the so-called Ice Bowl in 1967 between the Dallas Cowboys and Green Bay Packers.

The Chiefs became the early favorites to win Super Bowl 56 the moment they lost Super Bowl 55. They were the consensus favorites in the preseason and held on to the top spot on the futures board through a rough first month of the season before the Bucs took over as the betting favorite in Week 3. The Chiefs were the only favorite to win in the NFL Divisional Round and survived the carnage in which underdogs went 3-1. Heading into the conference championships, the Chiefs returned to the top spot on the NFL futures board at +120 odds to win Super Bowl 56.

Rams +200

The LA Rams went all-in on a championship in the offseason when they leveraged their future to acquire Matthew Stafford from the Detroit Lions. Stafford swapped Motown for Tinsel Town and now he’s one win away from a trip to the Super Bowl.

The Rams also added two key players in the second half of the season, including linebacker Von Miller and wide receiver Odell Beckham, Jr. Both new additions earned their stripes in this postseason with big plays in both rounds.

The Rams were +1200 odds to win Super Bowl 56 at the start of the season. Their odds jumped to +750 at the end of the regular season and held steady after their wild-card victory over the Arizona Cardinals. They pulled off a big victory over Brady and a banged-up Bucs team, but now face another NFC West foe in the NFC Championship game. You can back the Rams at +200 odds to win the Super Bowl.

49ers +450

The San Francisco 49ers earned a trip to their 17th NFC Championship game. One of the most prestigious franchises in pro football finds themselves one win away from a Super Bowl berth while seeking a sixth title. Say whatever you want about Jimmy G, but he’s one win away from his second trip to the Super Bowl in the last three seasons. Only the Rams stand in their way.

Oddsmakers didn’t give the 49ers much of a chance to win the championship. The 49ers were +1400 odds in the preseason and didn’t attract much public money to ship the Super Bowl at the start of the postseason at +1000 odds. The 49ers improved to +450 odds to win Super Bowl 56, but will have a tough task ahead as a +3.5 underdog next weekend in Hollywood.

Bengals +800

If you ask fans, they would have been happy with a simple wild-card berth after a 4-11-1 season in 2020 and Joe Burrow undergoing ACL surgery. This year’s Bengals won the AFC North and secured a home game in the first round of the playoffs. They finally got over the hump and won their first playoff games in 21 years, and now they’re about to make their first visit to the AFC Championship in 33 years. Burrow was a toddler the last time they won a postseason game, and he wasn’t even born the last time the Bengals were within striking distance of a trip to the Super Bowl.

It’s safe to say that the Bengals are way ahead of schedule and are exceeding expectations. The Bengals were a ridiculous +10000 odds to win Super Bowl in the preseason. They were +5000 odds as late as December before improving to +1500 at the start of the wild-card round. The Bengals are currently +800 odds as the long shot to win Super Bowl 56.
