After the Green Bay Packers lost to the Tampa Bay Bucs in Week 6, the Packers saw their championship futures adjusted from 10/1 to 11/1 odds to win the Super Bowl, according to a recent update by DraftKings.

The Packers came into this season at 28/1 odds with seven other NFC teams on the futures aboard above them, including the Minnesota Vikings and Dallas Cowboys.

Oddsmakers were very high on New Orleans and San Francisco in the preseason. Once Tom Brady signed with Tampa Bay in the offseason, the Bucs saw their Super Bowl odds bump to 14/1 while the Packers slipped to 28/1.

Right now, you can grab the Packers at 5/1 odds to win the NFC Championship. The Packers are the third-best team in the NFC behind the undefeated Seattle Seahawks (5-0) and Chicago Bears (5-1).

The Packers are -200 odds to win the NFC North, while the first-place Bears are +170 to win the division.

A-Rod MVP?

The Packers, under a revitalized Aaron Rodgers, average 32.4 points per game — third-best in the NFL.

Aside from a feeble attempt of an offense (10 points) against the fierce Tampa Bay defense (ranked #1 DVOA), the Packers scored 30 or more points in the first four games of the season, including 42-plus in the first two games.

Rodgers tossed 13 touchdowns in his first four games before he unloaded a stinker against the Bucs. He struggled and failed to find the end zone. He came into the season with zero interceptions, but the Bucs picked him off twice, including one returned for a touchdown.

You can currently find Rodgers at +600 odds to win the NFL MVP. Russell Wilson got off to a torrid start for the 5-0 Seattle Seahawks and is the favorite on the MVP futures board at -125 odds.

On Deck: Texans, Vikes, Niners, Jags

The Packers face three 1-5 teams over the next four weeks. The 3-3 San Francisco 49ers post the biggest challenge to Green Bay over the next month.

The Week 9 matchup against San Francisco will be a rematch of the 2019 NFC Championship game. In January, the Niners prevailed, clinching the NFC title game and advancing to the Super Bowl while Matt LeFluer’s debut season with the Green Bay Packers ended with a whimper.

The Packers play at the Houston Texans (1-5) this Sunday, then host the Minnesota Vikings (1-5) in Week 8. In Week 10, the long-awaited Aaron Rodgers and Gardner Minshew slugfest will go down at Lambeau Field in Green Bay.

The Texans are +3.5 home dogs against the Packers this week.
