Week 8 of the college football season should bring plenty of shootouts, with such high-flying offenses as Oklahoma, Ole Miss and UCLA on the slate. We’ll probably want to sprinkle skill position players from these teams in our DFS rosters.

Here are six to consider this week:

Quarterbacks

Caleb Williams, Oklahoma ($9,800 on DraftKings, $12,000 on FanDuel) – It’s not often a Heisman frontrunner is benched and the reserve QB put in his place, but here we are. Williams has done a masterful job of running the Sooners’ offense after Spencer Rattler was relegated to headset duties. Williams is a dual threat, averaging about 35 fantasy points per game on DraftKings in his two starts. Kansas won’t put up much of a fight this week, making #13 worth paying up for.

Dorian Thompson-Robinson, UCLA ($8,100 on DK, $10,300 on FD) – The Bruins’ quarterback is another dual threat, which we love in DFS. He’s been a consistent performer in DFS, averaging more than 24 fantasy points per game on DK and never dropping below 20 in any game. Oregon should struggle to contain him this Saturday.

Running backs

Tyrion Davis-Price, LSU ($6,600 on DK, $8,500 on FD) – The Tigers’ starting running back is way too cheap for this matchup against Ole Miss, a team that has been run on and giving up points consistently this season. The Rebels have built their strong record on a stellar offense and subpar defense (which will make this a game you should consider stacking both sides this week). Davis-Price has averaged a whopping 29 carries the past two games.

Hassan Haskins, Michigan ($6,500 on DK, $8,300 on FD) – The run-heavy Wolverines offense features two backs: Haskins and Blake Corum. The latter is more expensive, being more of a pass catcher, but Haskins gets more carries. You almost can’t go wrong with either one this week against the weak Northwestern rush defense. I’ll take Haskins and the salary savings.

Wide receivers

Jadon Haselwood, Oklahoma ($5,400 on DK, $6,600 on FD) – Haselwood has become Williams’ favorite target, with nine receptions for 72 yards the past two games, including a three-touchdown effort against TCU last week. He’s primed for another monster effort this week.

Greg Dulcich, UCLA ($4,800 on DK, $6,600 on FD) – The Bruins tight end is one of the most productive at his position in the country, and has caught 14 passes for 197 yards and two TDs over his past three games. Oregon’s pass defense ranks just 148th in college defense DFS against opposing receivers.
