Power 5 football returns on Saturday, with the ACC and Big 12 joining in on the action. Several games on the day slate will likely be blowouts, which will likely provide opportunities for stars and reserves alike to put up high DFS scores. Consider these players for your rosters on Saturday:

Quarterbacks

Jarret Doege, West Virginia ($8,200 on DraftKings, $9,800 on FanDuel) – We saw what Grant Wells of Marshall did to Eastern Kentucky last Saturday. Now it’s West Virginia’s turn to trounce that FCS opponent. Doege, a transfer from Bowling Green, will look to follow in Wells’ footsteps and should have a big game in his debut for the Mountaineers.

Ian Book, Notre Dame ($8,700 on DK, $10,500 on FD) – The Fighting Irish quarterback sometimes get lost in the shuffle when college football fans discuss the sport’s top passers, but he put together a solid campaign in 2019 with 3,034 yards passing and 34 touchdowns with six interceptions. That resulted in a solid DFS points-per-game average of 26. He should have his way with Duke on Saturday, a team with a poor pass defense that Vegas pegs as a 20-point underdog.

Running backs

Breece Hall, Iowa State ($7,000 on DK, $9,200 on FD) – The Cyclones’ back served as a workhorse last year and gets to start 2020 against a weak opponent in Louisiana-Lafayette. He should find the running lanes open in a game that Iowa State should dominate.

Tony Mathis, Jr., West Virginia ($4,400 on DK, $8,000 on FD) – Although Leddie Brown will start for the Mountaineers, Mathis is expected to see plenty of action in a platoon situation. Plus, with the likely blowout against Eastern Kentucky, Mathis would have seen the field for many plays anyway. He’s a steal at this price.

Wide receivers

Xavier Hutchinson, Iowa State ($4,900 on DK, $6,500 on FD) – I’ll happily pick up another cheap player who will see plenty of playing time against ULL. Experts believe the junior college transfer could prove to be the biggest downfield threat for the Cyclones, making him primed for a big day against the Ragin’ Cajuns.

Tamorrion Terry, Florida State ($7,800 on DK, $8,800 on FD) – The Seminoles’ top receiver caught 60 passes for 1,188 yards and nine touchdowns in 2019, averaging nearly 20 DFS points per game. He’s primed for a big game against Georgia Tech and we could afford to pay up for him by using some of the aforementioned value plays on Saturday.
