Circa Sportsbook Grand Opening: See Las Vegas’ New High-Tech Betting Palace

Circa Sportsbook opened Wednesday with the goal of being the biggest facility in the world, and owner Derek Stevens certainly believes he has accomplished that objective. The avid sports bettor has reinvented downtown Las Vegas with his new facility.

The Circa Sportsbook spans three stories and has a 78-million pixel video board that can televise more than 20 live sporting events. There is also a large video board that stretches from the first to the third floors on one wall, and which provides live odds for all the sportsbooks’ lines.

Going Bigger, Better

The sportsbook has a 1,000-person viewing room with private tables. An additional 350 seats of stadium seating is available. There are also two escalators from the main casino floor to the first floor of the sportsbook to help bettors’ weary feet.

Stevens told the media he wants a facility that can accommodate any gambler.

“Fans have proven time and time again that the demand for incredible sports betting experiences isn’t going away anytime soon,” Stevens said. “From atmosphere to [the] offerings, Circa Sports will meet and exceed those expectations by giving guests the best and most exciting sportsbook they’ve ever stepped foot in.”

Circa Welcoming Pro Sports Bettors

One type of customer Stevens said Circa Sportsbook won’t shy away from is professional gamblers. He told the Las Vegas Review-Journal the facility will welcome sharps to the sportsbook.

“I’ve always taken the position to take larger-size bets,” Stevens said. “ We’re not trying to shy away from professional bettors. We give them fair limits. As we get closer to kickoff or the first pitch of the game, they get very large limits.”
