Derrick Henry, the highest running back on the board, saw his odds dip from +5000 to +10000 despite a strong start to the season as the NFL’s leading rusher with 510 yards. By the way, get ready to get your mind blown with this stat: Sam Darnold leads the NFL with five rushing touchdowns, which is one more than Henry, James Conner, and Zeke Elliot.

You can take a huge flier on Darnold at +8000 odds to win the MVP.

MVP Talk: Mahomes or Murray?

Mahomes from the Kansas City Chiefs is the best quarterback in the NFL. He leads the league with 14 touchdowns, but the Chiefs struggled to start the season with a 2-2 record. Mahomes was the consensus favorite heading into this season at +500 odds, but he’s still second on the prop betting board after slipping to +650 odds.

During a 4-0 start, Murray tossed nine touchdowns and added three rushing touchdowns. A highly accurate Murray leads the league with a 76.1% completion percentage. He also spearheads the NFL’s most potent offense with 140 total points for an average of 35 ppg. The Cardinals racked up the most overall yardage with 440 yards per game, and Murray leads the third-best passing attack with 304 air yards per game.

Murray is the popular pick right now thanks to Arizona’s sizzling start. The big question now, is, can he keep it up for the rest of the season?

Gunslingers: Allen, Herbert, Rodgers

Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills dropped the season-opener, but they’ve looked unstoppable since then. Allen’s MVP odds improved from +1200 to +700.

Justin Herbert guided the LA Chargers to a 3-1 record and to first place in the AFC West. He saw his odds drastically improve from +1200 to +750. Through four games, he threw nine touchdowns and only three interceptions. He completed 68.9% of his passes for 1,178 yards.

Aaron Rodgers is playing his final season with the Green Bay Packers. After an ugly season-opener and a blowout against the New Orleans Saints, Rodgers and the Packers looked sharp with three straight wins. Rodgers didn’t see any movement in his MVP odds, which are still +1000. He began the season as the second-favorite to win MVP, but he’s since been passed, and is now sixth-highest on the futures board.
