He dreamed of becoming a professional football player, but things didn’t go according to plan. Danny Mountain is now a millionaire thanks to his roles in porn movies.
The once-promising Southampton Academy player is currently the best-paid porn actor in Britain. Mountain ended his football career aged 16, following a knee injury. During his seven years as a player, he attracted interest from Chelsea, Tottenham Hotspur, and West Ham United.
Danny forgot about the frustration caused by his career-ending knee problem focusing on carpentry for a while. But that didn’t last either. Mountain soon became an adult movie actor. To date, he starred in almost 600 films and earned more than $1 million.
How did Mountain get into the adult industry?
Mountain became an actor at 19, after going to an audition to support his then-girlfriend.
“I was dating a Page Three girl. Her agent wanted her to get into porn. She wasn’t keen, but she went to an audition in London and I went along,” Danny told Daily Star.
“I wasn’t at all nervous about the sexual part, I was nervoud about talking on camera. Indeed. I was so nervous I couldn’t control my face,” Mountain remembered.
The actor was married twice, both times with porn actresses, but now he’s single. Mountain has a daughter with his first wife, Eva Angelina.
“Would I like my daughter to be a porn actress? Of course not. But, if I have a son, I will tell him the same thing my father told me: ‘Dare, son’,” Mountain said.
Asked about his parents’ reaction after they found out he entered the adult industry, Danny Mountain remembered his dad’s reaction. His parent told him to ‘go on’, while his mum needed some time to accept what her son was doing for a living.
“When I told my mum, she was a bit shocked. She was worried because I was only 19. But I was having a great time and I was flying all around the world. She soon realized how happy I was. My dad’s a big kid. When I told him, he was like: ‘Go on my son’,” Mountain laughed.
He never imagined himself going into porn before actually doing it. Mountain dreamed to become a big name in football and score goals in the England shirt.
“As a child, I dreamed of becoming a famous football player,” he revealed. “Unfortunately, I will never score for England, but it did not stop me from being successful,” Danny added.
He is still connected to the world of football, even though he’s only playing the game with his famous friends at the moment.
“Today, I have a big house, I eat in good restaurants, and play football with Statham and other celebrities at the weekend,” he declared.
