2020 Super Bowl Odds: Baltimore, Kansas City, San Francisco Lead Final Eight

Only eight teams remain in the NFL playoffs, and the Baltimore Ravens are still the favorite to win the 2020 Super Bowl at 9/4 odds, according to the latest update by William Hill. The Kansas City Chiefs and San Francisco 49ers are both 7/2 odds, which is the second-highest on the board.

As expected, the four teams that earned a bye last weekend — the Ravens, Chiefs, Niners, and Green Bay Packers — are currently the top four favorites on the betting boards.

The Chiefs are the only team among the final eight that appeared in last year’s divisional playoff round.

2020 Super Bowl Odds
Baltimore Ravens 9/4
San Francisco 49ers 7/2
Kansas City Chiefs 7/2
Green Bay Packers 9/1
Seattle Seahawks 12/1
Minnesota Vikings 14/1
Tennessee Titans 25/1
Houston Texans 28/1

Both #3 seeds lost in overtime home games over the weekend. Last year’s champions, the New England Patriots, were knocked out by the #6 Houston Texans, 22-19, in the AFC wild card. The New Orleans Saints lost 26-20 to the Minnesota Vikings.

The Philadelphia Eagles, with the #4 seed, were beat down by the #5 Seattle Seahawks. The Eagles lost quarterback Carson Wentz in the first quarter after a shady hit by Jadeveon Clowney. The Seahawks held on for a 17-9 victory courtesy of a touchdown from Marshawn Lynch, who came out of retirement to join Seattle in Week 17 after an injury to Chris Carson.

NFC’s Final 4

The #1 San Francisco Niners secured the top seed in the NFC with a clutch game in Week 17 against the Seahawks. They come in as the second-best favorite on the future board at 7/2 odds. They’ll host Kirk Cousins and the #6 Vikings, who come in as a 7-point underdog.

The #5 Seahawks went 7-1 on the road in the regular season, in addition to their wild-card win in Philly. They’ll rely on their road-warrior mentality when they battle the #2 Green Bay Packers and the elements at Lambeau Field.

Snow is expected in the weather forecast, which should make this an interesting matchup on Sunday. The Packers are a 4-point favorite in Matt LaFleur’s first postseason game as head coach. The Packers are 9/1 odds to win the 2020 Super Bowl.

The Seahawks were 33/1 odds to win the Super Bowl coming into wild-card weekend. Their odds jumped to 12/1 after William Hill’s latest adjustment.

AFC’s Final 4

The #1 Ravens are 9-point favorites against one of the hottest teams in the AFC. While the #6 Tennessee Titans have to figure out how to contain Lamar Jackson, the Ravens have their own set of problems stopping Derrick Henry. The New England Patriots had the top defense in the league, including one of the strongest run D’s, yet they couldn’t slow Henry down. Henry destroyed them for 182 yards on the ground, and added 22 more receiving yards for a dominating 202 combined yards from scrimmage.

The Titans are one of the long shots on the board at 25/1 odds to win the 2020 Super Bowl, while the Ravens are the top dog at 9/4 odds.

The #2 Kansas City Chiefs saw their odds bump from 9/2 to 7/2 odds while enjoying bye week. Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs are 9.5-point favorites at Arrowhead Stadium.

After getting shutout in the first half, DeShaun Watson led the #4 Houston Texans to a comeback victory in overtime. The Buffalo Bills squandered a 13-0 halftime lead, and QB Josh Allen made several costly mistakes in the fourth quarter and overtime to gift the victory to the Texans, which is one of the primary reasons they’re the long shot on the board at 28/1 odds.
