Omaha poker has very similar rules to Texas Hold'em, except each player is dealt 4 cards, of which they must use two and two only in their hand.
Many texas hold'em players learn to play omaha, as it variants, especially omaha hi/lo, offer greater strategic challenges and drawing possibilities.

Pot Limit Omaha
The most popular format for online omaha games is pot-limit. Players may bet up to the amount of chips already in the pot.
Played just like limit texas holdem, with fixed bet amounts each round of betting.
Also known as Omaha eight or better, Omaha 8 or Omaha hi/lo split. In this version of omaha, players are actually playing for two pots - the high and the low. It is possible for the same player to win both pots. To qualify for the low, a player must have 87654 or lower, hence why the game is sometimes called '8 or better'. Players can use any 2 of their 4 cards for the low hand and any two of their cards for the high hand. If there is no qualifying low hand, the high hand takes the pot.
