The rebooted XFL has announced team names and logos for the relaunch on the league in February 2020. Eight teams will take the field one week after the next Super Bowl.
What’s in a Name?
All eight XFL teams are currently centrally owned and managed on the corporate level from the XFL offices in Stamford, Connecticut. But eight cities have secured franchises to compete in the 2020 XFL season:

Where Will They Play?
Each team will have five home and five away games. The top four records will make the post-season playoffs. The will play in a mix of NFL and MLS stadiums, with one NCAA field venue:

- StubHub Center — Los Angles Wildcats [MLS and temporary home of the LA Chargers]

2020 XFL Schedule
The new XFL will kick-off the weekend of Feb. 8-9, one week after the NFL Super Bowl. The regular season will be 10 games with a two-week postseason. Each team plays six in-conference games, home and away with each of the other three conference teams. Each team plays all four the teams from the other conference, one time each. ABC/ESPN will carry the games with a doubleheader on both Saturday and Sunday during the 10 week regular season.
The League will be faster, with more plays, less stall, fewer interruptions and no gimmicks. We’re sifting through the thousands of suggestions and recommendations we’ve received from fans, players, coaches and experts on ways to improve the game. Bottom line: every element of the game is under review to see where we can make improvements. We are already field-testing each potential change and if we approve it, you will see it. The rebooted XFL has also made noise about being both fantasy and gambling friendly. In the face of more states opening to legal sports betting, it will interesting to see how the XFL maximizes these new fan options.
