The former Inter star sent his 19-year-old son Francisco onto the pitch for the final minutes of the clash, and the decision paid off big time.

Conceicao Jr. came on in the 87th minute and only needed a few seconds to produce an impact. With just one minute remaining before stoppage time, Francisco sent the ball past the Estoril keeper from close range, following a perfect cross from Luis Diaz.

The Porto players and coaching staff could hardly control themselves as they celebrated together next to the sideline. Conceicao hugged his son, then slapped Francisco on the back of his head. The kid lived the moment at racing pulse, just like the Porto faithful in the stands and at home. The video of Porto’s winner became viral minutes after it was scored.

Francisco Conceicao’s goal in Estoril was his second on Porto’s first team and his first in the league. The score ended a long wait of 26 games for Conceicao’s debut goal in the Portuguese top flight.

FC Porto came from two goals behind at halftime to beat Estoril 3-2, and became the sole leader in Portugal after 17 games. Defending champions Sporting Lisbon surprisingly lost 3-2 against relegation-threatened Santa Clara, and are now three points behind Porto.

Porto is now at -160 to win the league, with Sporting at +225, and third-placed Benfica at +400.
