Heading into Week 4 of the NFL season, a couple of undefeated teams in the AFC — New England Patriots and Kansas City Chiefs — are the top favorites on the board in the latest Super Bowl 54 odds update.

According to the Westgate SuperBook in Las Vegas, the 3-0 Patriots are the big favorites on the board to win Super Bowl 54 at 7/2 odds. Tom Brady and Bill Belichick are undefeated, despite the fact they beat up on the lowly NY Jets and the tanking Miami Dolphins.

The Kansas City Chiefs missed out on appearing in Super Bowl LIII after losing to Brady and Belichick in the AFC title game. However, after a 3-0 start the Chiefs look like they’re on another collision course with the Patriots this season. Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs were 8/1 odds to win the title, but now they’re 4/1 odds to win the Super Bowl, which is the second-highest on the board.

SUPER BOWL 54 ODDS (thru 9.25.19):
New England 7/2
Kansas City 4/1
LA Rams 8/1
Dallas Cowboys 8/1
Green Bay Packers 10/1
New Orleans 16/1
Minnesota 16/1
Baltimore 20/1
Chicago 20/1
San Francisco 20/1

Meanwhile, out in the NFC, the undefeated LA Rams are the top favorite on the board at 8/1. Last year’s Super Bowl runner-up are in the same boat as the 3-0 Cowboys. Dallas is also 8/1 odds to win the Super Bowl.

The Green Bay Packers, led by a stifling defense, got off to a hot start with a 3-0 record. Aaron Rodgers and the Packers improved to 10/1 odds to win Super Bowl 54.

Jimmy G’s Comeback Kids

The San Francisco Niners remain undefeated after Jimmy G engineered a comeback victory running the two-minute drill. The Niners are tied for first place in the NFC West. Money has come in on the Niners, which is why they are now 20/1 odds to win the Super Bowl. Is that a bigger shock to you than the Buffalo Bills also starting the season 3-0?

Let’s be honest here, even with a 3-0 start, even the most-intoxicated member of Bills Mafia would never waste money on a Bills Super Bowl bet. After all, that’s money that will be better spent on more booze, benzos and fireworks.

The (NFC) North Remembers

Who would have thought the Green Bay Packers would be 3-0 and in first place in the NFC North? The Packers defense has yet to allow a single point in the fourth quarter. The offense still has a long way to go, but if Rodgers can get the offense humming, then the Packers Super Bowl odds will continue to improve. The Packers arealways big Super Bowl favorite in the Mid West went from 16/1 odds in the preseason to 10/1 odds after their 3-0 start.

The Chicago Bears still boast one of the best defenses in the league. However, it’s the offense that got off to a slow start. Mitch Trubisky finally shook off the rust with a trio of touchdowns to Taylor Gabriel. The odds for the Bears slipped to 20/1.

The Minnesota Vikings would probably be 3-0 if they had consistent kicking. When Dalvin Cook plays like he did in Week 3, then you don’t even sweat the kicking and don’t worry about Kirk Cousins. The Vikes improved to 16/1 overall.

Don’t Sleep on Who Dat

Even without Drew Brees for at least another month, the New Orleans Saints are still near the top of the board. The Saints are 16/1 odds to win the Super Bowl on the assumption that Brees returns to action.

Then again, backup QB Teddy Bridgewater stepped up in a huge road game against the Seattle Seahawks in Week 3. The Saints pulled off a super-rare feat by becoming the first road team in the Pete Carroll era to win a game in Seattle in the month of September. So long as Teddy Bridgewater can hold the line and as long as Alvin Kamara continues to eat up a ton of yardage, the Saints are the most dangerous team in the chase pack.
