The tour will resume again July 31 with the Ally Challenge at Warwick Hills in Grand Blanc, Michigan, if conditions permit.

“The health and safety of everyone associated with PGA Tour Champions and the global community will continue to be the No. 1 priority as the Tour navigates the ongoing health crisis related to the coronavirus pandemic,” Brady said. “We will continue to monitor the developing situation and follow recommendations by government authorities.”

PGA Tour Champions Majors Rescheduled

Three PGA Tour Champions events have been rescheduled, and one has been postponed. Two of the rescheduled events, the Senior Players Championship and the Regions Tradition, are majors.

“We are excited for the opportunity to contest one of our senior major championships with the Bridgestone Senior Players in August, knowing we will only do so if it is considered safe under the guidance of leading public health authorities,” Brady said.

Korn Ferry Tour Undergoes Changes

The first scheduled event for the Korn Ferry Tour is slated for June 11-14 at TPC Sawgrass in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida, according to a memo sent to the players. The tour should continue the following week in Florida at the King and Bear courses at the World Golf Hall of Fame in St. Augustine

“It is very important for all to understand that these adjustments are subject to the resumption of play at TPC Sawgrass, June 11-14, but may be further modified if needed,” the memo read.

The tour also announced that players on the Korn Ferry Tour will not be able to earn promotions to the PGA Tour like in previous years. The top players on the money list will be combined in the 2021 season.
