NFL Week 14 DFS is a big slate, with 13 games up for selection. With superstars like Christian McCaffrey and Lamar Jackson on the slate, we’ll need to dive deep and find those sub-$5,000 value plays to fit in the high-priced guys. While I may have cheated slightly with Drew Lock, the rest of this list is all below $5,000 and worth consideration for roster spots.

Drew Lock, Broncos QB, $5,100

In his first start last week against the Chargers, the rookie Lock played competently, going 18 for 28 with 134 yards, two touchdowns, and one interception. He also rushed three times for 15 yards. This week, he matches up against a Houston Texans defense that ranks just 30th in the NFL against opposing quarterbacks in DFS. Lock is unlikely to put up monster numbers, but at just $5,100, he could be a value leader.

Derrius Guice, Redskins RB, $4,900

Week 13 was a breakout Sunday for Guice, who scored two TDs against the Panthers by rushing for 129 yards on 10 carries. He also caught two of three targets. Guice didn’t get a ton of volume or play on the majority of snaps, but his success in limited action could result in more playing time this week. This week’s opponent, the Packers, aren’t great against the run.

Bo Scarbrough, Lions RB, $4,500

Scarbrough is now the top running back in Detroit due to Kerryon Johnson’s knee injury, and is getting plenty of volume, with 39 carries in the past two games. He’s been a bit unlucky as penalties have called back several great runs by the rookie, and his lack of touchdowns (just one) is artificially keeping his salary low. At $4,500, he is a great value play in Week 14 DFS.

John Ross III, Bengals WR, $4,400

The Bengals showed life last week by easily beating the Jets for their first win of the season. The return of Ross this week from a shoulder injury will further help their cause. A.J. Green is still out, so look for Ross to be a focal point for quarterback Andy Dalton. Before he went out in Week 4, Ross was averaging 18 DFS points per game on DK, including two monster efforts in the first two weeks of the season. He’s a top DFS value play this week.

Jack Doyle, Colts TE, $4,600

Doyle benefited last week from a depleted Indianapolis receiving corps, and even though some pieces are back this week, Doyle has put up consistent numbers through all of 2019. He has at least three receptions in all but two games, and has scored double-digit DFS points on DK five times.
