Are you ready for a DFS Monday Night Showdown? OK, so it doesn’t have the same ring as the tagline for the actual game, but we do have an exciting matchup tonight with the Detroit Lions at the Green Bay Packers. The Packers are six-point favorites in a game with an over/under of 47. Here are four players I’m targeting tonight.

Jamaal Williams

Kerryon Johnson, Lions RB

While Johnson’s yards per carry are down significantly from his stellar 2018 rookie campaign, he is a workhorse for the Lions, with 20 and 26 carries in his last two games. He’s only scored two TDs on the year, however, and only one on the ground. That makes him a little undervalued, as variance has worked against him. Tonight, he faces one of the worst run defenses in the NFL so far in 2019, and is an excellent option at captain.

Kenny Golladay, Lions WR

No Lion is racking up a huge numbers of catches, but Golladay has proven to be Matthew Stafford’s favorite target with 19. He’s also scored in three of four games, with four TDs overall. He is the Lions pass catcher I’ll use in most lineups tonight.

Jamaal Williams, Packers RB

After his four-touchdown game last week, Aaron Jones will be heavily owned tonight. I’ll mostly use Williams instead, as he costs less than half as much as Jones ($5,200 to $11,400 on DraftKings), but figures to see decent usage. Before the concussion that knocked him out of the past two games, Williams saw 33 touches to Jones’ 52 in the first three games of the season. The salary relief we get from drafting Williams allows us to pay up for other skill players, but I will also throw in some lineups with both Jones and Williams in them. After all, the Lions are one of just two teams with a worse run D than the Packers.

Jimmy Graham, Packers TE

It hasn’t been a spectacular 2019 campaign for the former All-Pro, but Graham still has 12 catches for 132 yards and two TDs. Most importantly, with Devante Adams out with an injured toe, Graham is likely to see more passes come his way. And the big guy is always a viable option near the end zone, which could give us an all-important six points in DFS Monday Night Showdown.
