With Thanksgiving over, the college football season is winding down. Week 14 marks the final regular season slate for most teams, as conference championship games start on Dec. 7. This week’s DFS day slate features an intriguing set of games, including possible sneaky games between Wake Forest-Syracuse, and Tulane-SMU.

Quarterbacks

Justin McMillan, Tulane ($6,400 on DraftKings, Game not on FanDuel) – For a dual-threat quarterback starting in a game projected by oddsmakers to be a shootout, McMillan seems awfully underpriced. The Green Wave star put on a clinic against UCF last week, passing for 181 yards and a TD while rushing for 102 yards. The SMU defense he faces this week is poor against both the run and the pass. We could see a repeat of that DFS monster game between SMU and East Carolina two weeks ago, so feel free to stack players on both sides.

Justin Herbert, Oregon ($7,700 on DK, $9,200 on FD) – After a heartbreaking loss at Arizona State that put the Ducks out of playoff contention, Vegas expects Oregon to seek revenge at home against Oregon State. As such, Oregon has the highest implied team total on the slate at 43 points. We can expect Herbert to be a big part of that, as he has been rolling in recent weeks, scoring at least 20 DFS points on DraftKings in four of the past five games.

Running backs

CJ Verdell, Oregon ($6,500 on DK, $7,700 on FD) – The sophomore running back is another good DFS day slate play for that high-octane Oregon offense. He enjoyed a solid 18 rush, 99-yard effort last week, and will face an Oregon State defense that ranks just 236th in college football against opposing running backs in DFS.

Moe Neal, Syracuse ($6,300 on DK, $8,500 on FD) – Players from the Syracuse-Wake Forest game could be sneaky plays this Saturday, as the game has the second-highest over-under on the board at 68. I like Neal, a senior who rushed 20 times for 163 yards and a TD last week against Louisville. The Wake defense is porous on all fronts.

Wide receivers

Kendall Hinton, Wake Forest ($6,500 on DK, $8,700 on FD) – The absence of both Sage Surratt (for the rest of the season) and Scotty Washington (indefinitely) means that Hinton is the man in the Demon Deacons’ receiving corps. He snagged six passes for 189 yards and a touchdown last week against Duke, and could easily put up as big a total this week in the DFS day slate against the Orangemen.

Tyler Snead, East Carolina ($5,400 on DK, $7,500 on FD) – Lately, it seems as if Snead is the only receiver on the field for the Pirates. He’s caught an incredible 35 passes for 366 yards and three TDs in the past two weeks. Tulsa is unlikely to slow him down this Saturday, so get Snead in almost all of your lineups.
