We enjoy another big college football DFS slate on Saturday, with 13 games on DraftKings. As players seem to be finally re-learning how to tackle, the over/unders are dropping a bit. In a return to 2019 form, I’ll focus most of this week’s picks on the Big 12.

Here are some selections:

Quarterbacks

Jarret Doege, West Virginia ($6,100 on DraftKings, $7,700 on FanDuel) – Behind Doege’s solid performance, the Mountaineers have gotten off to a 4-2 start. His 301 yards passing last week in a win over Kansas State represented his third straight game eclipsing 300 yards. Meanwhile, this week’s opponent, Texas, gives up yards through the air early and often.

Spencer Sanders, Oklahoma State ($7,600 on DK, $9,800 on FD) – One of last week’s picks, Sanders saw his salary rise after going 27-for-39 for 400 yards and four touchdowns against Texas. But it’s still too low. Sanders may be turnover prone, making him risky as a game-winning QB, but he’s a solid gunslinger for DFS purposes and should score well against Kansas State in Week 10.

Running Backs

Devyn Ford, Penn State ($5,900 on DK, Game not on FD) – Last week’s eight-carries-for-36-yards stat line didn’t impress, but the Nittany Lions relied more on quarterback Sean Clifford’s running ability to move the ball on the ground against the tough Ohio State defense. The sledding should prove easier against Maryland this week, and oddsmakers expect Penn State to be one of the highest-scoring teams on the day slate.

Rhamondre Stevenson, Oklahoma ($6,900 on DK, Game not on FD) – In his return from suspension, Stevenson carried the ball 13 times for 87 yards and three touchdowns against Texas Tech, also catching two passes for 13 yards. He likely will see more touches this week against Kansas, a team especially porous against running backs.

Wide Receivers

Jake Smith, Texas ($5,000 on DK, $7,700 on FD) – Smith has logged just three games this year, after suffering from a nagging hamstring injury. The Baylor game was a dud, as he caught just one pass for 14 yards, but quarterback Sam Ehlinger hit Smith for 13 receptions and two TDs in the other games. He should provide nice value this week in the slot against West Virginia.

Tylan Wallace, Oklahoma State ($7,900 on DK, $9,600 on FD) – Pair Sanders with his top receiver, Wallace, who is averaging seven receptions and nearly 25 DFS points per game on DraftKings. Sanders missed several games earlier in the season, and the passing game wasn’t clicking in his absence. But now, the Sanders-Wallace pairing could yield excellent DFS results moving forward.
