It’d be nice to cram Christian McCaffrey, Ezekiel Elliott, Lamar Jackson, Julio Jones, and DeAndre Hopkins into your DFS lineup, but that’s just not feasible with salary caps. (And everyone would just pick all of the best players, making most lineups very similar.) No, to play some of the studs, we have to hunt for value, trying to find the low-priced DFS sleepers on the slate. Here are five such sleepers you may want to target this Sunday.

Bengals WR Auden Tate
With AJ Green and John Ross injured, Auden Tate looks to be a bigger part of the Cincinnati Bengals offense, making him a DFS sleeper this week. (Image: DraftKings)

Auden Tate, Cincinnati Bengals WR

Priced at just $3,500 on DraftKings, and $5,300 on FanDuel, Tate is expected to see more reception opportunities this week with John Ross on injured reserve with a hurt shoulder, Ben Baby of ESPN.com reports. That’s on top of AJ Green already being out for the first several weeks of the season. Ross has lead the Bengals in receiving yards over the past two contests – admittedly a meager total of 138 yards – with 10 receptions in that span. He could be in for a big game against the struggling Arizona defense in Week 5.

Austin Hooper, Atlanta Falcons TE

Despite becoming Matt Ryan’s top target in recent weeks, Hooper is still value priced at $4,500 on DK, and more accurately priced at $6,700 on FD. Hooper is averaging seven receptions per game, with two TD catches. Many players will go with Bengals tight end Tyler Eiffert as their DFS sleeper pick this week, but I’ll take a shot on Hooper in a possible shootout with the Houston Texans, even if that D has mostly shut down tight ends early in 2019.

Will Fuller V, Houston Texans WR

Ask many DFS experts and they will say Fuller is due. He plays more than 90 percent of snaps and has, historically, put up monster games. So far in 2019, he has 14 receptions for 183 yards and no touchdowns. Continuing that potential Falcons-Texans shootout theme, I’ll definitely sprinkle Fuller (priced at $4,500 on DK and $5,700 on FD) in some lineups. I’ll also be playing the QBs in that game, Matt Ryan and Deshuan Watson, a lot on Sunday.

David Montgomery, Chicago Bears RB

The Bears and Oakland Raiders head to London this week, and Montgomery has steadily become more involved in Chicago’s rushing attack. He carried the ball 21 times last week against the Vikings, with three receptions. Priced at just $5,200 on DK and $5,700 on FD, Montgomery can easily provide good value by virtue of the volume of touches he’s getting.

Aaron Jones, Green Bay Packers RB

Another DFS sleeper this week is Aaron Jones who, much like Montgomery, is becoming more involved in the rushing game while also catching his share of passes. Jones is averaging nearly 15 rushes and three receptions per game, scoring four TDs on the season. Aaron Rodgers hit him for six passes last week against the Eagles. He will set you back $5,900 on DK, and $6,800 on FD.
