The Westgate Las Vegas SuperBook put out the odds for the NFL over/under win totals, odds to make the playoffs, and lines for division winners for all 32 teams. There are some lines that you would expect, like New England and Kansas City at 6/1 to win the Super Bowl.

Also the Patriots are 1/2 to win the AFC East, again not surprising since they have won it every year, but one, since 2003. They also have the highest over/under win totals for next season at 11.

That is surprising, not that New England is supposed to win 11 or more games, but that no team is at 12 or more. Last season the New Orleans Saints and Los Angeles Rams won 13 games, and the Chicago Bears, Kansas City Chiefs, and Los Angeles Chargers won 12 games.

OG News culled through the odds sheet and found a few more suspect lines. We believe gamblers might be able to take advantage of this. Our five bet recommendations* are below.

Oakland Raiders Over/Under 6 Wins

For their last season in Oakland, the Raiders will get to enjoy quite possibly the most difficult schedule in the NFL for 2019. Jon Gruden’s team begins by hosting the improved Denver Broncos and the Super Bowl favorite Kansas City Chiefs.

They then go on the road for five straight, though they are listed as the home team for the game in London. They really don’t get a break until Nov. 17 when they host the Bengals. Non-conference games with the Jets, Titans and Jaguars are no cakewalks either.

Going through the schedule it is hard to find six games the Raiders could win. Four or five seems more likely.

Take the under.

Minnesota Wins NFC North 2/1

Chicago is the favorite at 8/5, but Minnesota might be worth a look at 2/1. The Vikings improved their offensive line to protect Kirk Cousins, and shored up their coaching staff as well. The also benefit from an easier schedule than division foes Chicago and Green Bay.

Take Minnesota to win the NFC North.

Buffalo Bills Over/under Wins 6.5

The Bills finished 2018 at 6-10, and that is with an injured Josh Allen. This year the over/under is 6.5.

They addressed that by drafting offensive lineman Cody Ford. This year they got help in the backfield since LeSean McCoy could be a salary cap casualty.

The defense is better with first-round pick defensive end Ed Oliver.

The Bills start off their year on the road at New York in successive weeks with the Jets and Giants. They could get two wins right there. Then they have 14 games to win five more to hit the over. We like that prospect.

Take Buffalo and the over.

Atlanta Falcons to Make Playoffs +170

It’s hard to believe the Atlanta Falcons were in the Super Bowl just three years ago. They aren’t going back anytime soon, but making the playoffs is a definite possibility. The Falcons got better protection for Matt Ryan in the offseason, and the team is playing in the soft AFC South. Facing Tampa Bay and Carolina twice should garner them at least three wins.

They won’t overtake the New Orleans Saints for the division, but they should be able to take one of the wild card spots.

Take Atlanta to make the playoffs.

Pittsburgh to Win AFC North  +150

Pittsburgh might be better off for what they got rid of, than what they acquired in the offseason. Gone is locker room cancer Antonio Brown, and distraction LaVeon Bell.

That should allow the team to focus on getting back to the playoffs, and reclaiming the AFC North. At +150, it’s a good value bet.

Take Pittsburgh to win the AFC North.
