Tiger Woods is one of the most polarizing figures in sports, but beginning tomorrow in Las Vegas he’s joining forces with poker greats and philanthropists to raise millions of dollars for the Tiger Woods Foundation, a charity that helps low-income students achieve their dreams of attending college.

And while it’s a safe bet to assume the two-day event, dubbed the Tiger Jam, will raise millions from its golf outings, concert by pop star Ed Sheeran, and nightly dinners and parties, there’s another not-so-safe bet concerning Tiger’s next girlfriend.

Irish bookmaker Paddy Power (PP), which received its Nevada license in 2012, has created a line titled “Tiger Woods’ Next Girlfriend,” with the rundown specifying the outcome will be determined on Sunday, June 7th.

Poker Night in Vegas

Tiger’s Poker Night celebrity Texas hold’em tournament is a high-rollers affair for celebrities and business bigwigs who are able, and willing, to donate the $10,000 buy-in for a chance to sit down at the same table as the golfing great.

In its fourth year, Phil Hellmuth is returning to emcee the event as only Phil Hellmuth can, but he’s not the only poker legend that will be in attendance at the MGM Grand. Doyle Brunson, Daniel Negreanu, Antonio Esfandiari, and Mike Sexton are also going all-in for the charity.

While the buy-in will go directly to the foundation, prizes will be awarded to winners, including a round of golf with the world’s former number one.

Lady and the Tiger

Although Tiger and his celebrity pals are descending on The Strip this weekend, one personality you won’t see is his former girlfriend, Olympic skier Lindsey Vonn.

After a three-year relationship, Woods and Vonn announced this month they were ending their romance due to their busy lives.

Paddy Power wasted no time in setting up odds on who Tiger will court next, and while the entire betting line is borderline ridiculous, some of the names listed are downright laughable. A few notables:

Elin Nordegren, Tiger’s ex-wife, leads the pack 7/1

Cameron Diaz, although recently married, 16/1

Lindsay Lohan, 25/1

Rihanna, 33/1

Caroline Wozniacki, rival Rory McIlroy’s ex, 40/1

Michelle Wie, LPGA star, 14 years his junior, 40/1

Pippa Middleton, sister to Princess Kate, 100/1

The winner will only be recognized if Tiger publicly states the woman to be his girlfriend. Sounds absurd, but for PP, this line isn’t that crazy.

The bookie is notorious for offering rather controversial bets, perhaps none more so than when it accepted wagers on whether US President Barack Obama would be assassinated. Following a public outcry, or perhaps outrage, PP removed the line.

But with Tiger Woods, there will be no outcry for the removal of the special PP novelty bet. He’s one of the most disliked athletes in the world, largely due to his perceived arrogance and admitted infidelity.

Tiger’s unpopularity might not be completely justified, as the Tiger Woods Foundation assists students in breaking out of poverty through education.

Since 1998, Tiger Jam has raised over $17 million, and with the event completely sold out for 2015, that will likely surpass $20 million following this weekend’s activities.
