BetUS has all of the odds covered as the NFL regular season heads into Week 8.
There are plenty of great matchups this week, and here’s a quick look at what to expect in some of our top picks.
Houston Texans v Buffalo Bills
The Texan offense has proven to be a force to be reckoned with under the leadership of quarterback Matt Shaub. With a big win against Cincinnati in Week 6 followed by another win against San Francisco in Week 7 the Texans are on fire. Both of their previous competitors have been performing better than the Bills this season so it stands to reason that the Texans should be able to grab another win. However, with Ryan Fitzpatrick at quarterback the Bills have seen a boost in their offense. They’ll be hoping to prove that their win against Carolina last week was no accident. Expect them to put up a pretty great fight on the home field.
Pointspread
Texans: -3 -125
Bills: +3 +105
Moneyline
Texans: -175
Bills: +155
Minnesota Vikings v Green Bay Packers
Brett Favre is heading back to Green Bay in Week 8. He’ll try to lead the Vikings to a win on his former home field in front of his former home crowd. It’s safe to say that he probably won’t be getting the fan support he was used to. All of that aside, it will be interesting to see if the Vikings can bounce back from their first loss of the season last week. Green Bay will definitely be looking for some retribution in this rematch. They’ve been putting up some convincing wins, but the Vikings are a fair bit tougher than the Browns and the Lions. Minnesota will need to turn up the defense, but all eyes will be on Favre. Will he be able to perform under all the pressure? Expect a hard fought battle between these two rivals – definitely the game to watch this week.
Pointspread
Vikings: +3 Ev
Packers: -3 -120
Moneyline
Vikings: +155
Packers: -175
Seattle Seahawks v Dallas Cowboys
The Cowboys redeemed themselves last week by picking up a big win against the Falcons. With the Seahawks struggling to find their groove, the Cowboys should be able to pull off another win on the home field.
Pointspread
Seahawks: +9 ½ -110
Cowboys: -9 ½ -110
Moneyline
Seahawks: +350
Cowboys: -450
Oakland Raiders v San Diego Chargers
The Raiders have been pretty miserable this season, but they have a habit of pulling off major upsets like the one they managed against Philadelphia in Week 6. The Chargers are coming off a 37-3 win against the Chiefs, and, for the most part, have been performing pretty well. But with the Raiders pulling off surprise wins anything could happen in this game.
Pointspread
Raiders: +16 ½ -110
Chargers: -16 ½ -110
Moneyline
Raiders: +900
Chargers: -1600
Carolina Panthers v Arizona Cardinals
This will be a rematch of last year’s playoffs and though the Panthers are hoping for a better outcome, they did suffer a massive loss against the Bills last week. The Cardinals are a fair bit better than Buffalo and are coming off of a huge win against the reeling Giants. It seems like they’re gathering steam at just the right moment. Though it’s a long shot, it will be interesting to see if the Panthers can overcome all to secure a victory.
Pointspread
Panthers: +10 -110
Cardinals: -10 -110
Moneyline
Panthers: +400
Cardinals: -500
MONDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL
Atlanta Falcons v New Orleans Saints
The Saints just keep marching. They had a magnificent rally in the fourth to beat Miami last week, and they’re looking to remain undefeated as they host a pretty good Falcon squad. With two excellent offenses squaring off, this will definitely be a great game. Expect the Saints to keep on marching.
Pointspread
Falcons: +10 -110
Saints: -10 -110
Moneyline
Falcons: +400
Saints: -500
