With only three spots left in the next round of the FA Cup, six clubs will battle for glory on Tuesday and Wednesday. BetUS has posted odds on every match, so head over today and back your favorite team.
Wigan Athletic: -250
Draw: +325
Notts County: +600
Wigan Athletic vs. Notts County: Wigan managed to claw their way back from 2-0 down in the corresponding fixture to earn themselves a draw. The replay on Tuesday will see them take the home-ground advantage, and it’s difficult to see them leaving with any result other than a win. Their new signing Victor Moses won’t be playing any part in proceedings, however, as he is cup-tied from competing with Crystal Palace.
The League Two side that boasted Sol Campbell for a solitary game this season have surprised many by making it this far in the competition. Two goals to the good going into the second half against Wigan would have been a comfortable position for them, but their lack of experience ultimately gave way to a draw. Going up against a Premier League side away from home would be a tough task for any club, but it will be even harder for the League Two outfit.
Leeds United: +300
Draw: +230
Tottenham Hotspur: -120
Leeds vs. Tottenham: United have the enviable position of facing their opponents at home; Elland Road is one of the toughest stadiums to travel to, and Spurs fans will know it. While they may have fallen down the ranks over the past decade, Leeds United are still a powerful team, as has been apparent with their earlier victory over Manchester United, and recent draw at White Hart Lane. That match allowed them to return to their home ground for a final faceoff against their Premier League opponents.
Tottenham struggled against Leeds in their first fixture, and it’s going to be even tougher on Wednesday for them. Harry Redknapp will know that a European berth isn’t guaranteed, and his fans will be keen on acquiring some silverware. With Robbie Keane out the door, and Jermain Defoe struggling to find his earlier season form, this match could be much closer than many expect.
BetUS has also posted odds on the other FA Cup match to be played Tuesday evening.
Crystal Palace: +140
Draw: +225
Wolves: +170
