Los Angeles Lakers Betting History

Since the Lakers' fan base is so large, the team is one of the most gambled upon NBA teams. Their record of success means they are often favored in sportsbooks. Yet even during down years, the Lakers seem to always have a superstar player or two that can keep them in any game. Regardless of the year, the Lakers are always an intriguing wager and may be very difficult to bet against.

This is evident in the 2013/2014 season, in which they played their worst game since 1960. But despite only winning 27 games all season, they weren't a bomb when it came to betting. Compared to other teams with comparable records, they did much better. They managed to break even against the spread and were a strong betting propostion for those choosing the over option in Over/Under betting, beating the sportsbooks' scoreline 54.3% of the time.
