Atlanta Falcons vs Tampa Bay Buccaneers
This is an important game for these NFC South rivals who are both on track to qualify for the NFL playoffs in 2012. The Falcons are well in control of the NFC South division and will likely head into the playoffs as one of the top two seeds in the NFC. The Buccaneers have hit form in the second half of the season and are now well and truly in the hunt for a NFC wildcard berth. An upset win over the Falcons would put them in the driver's seat.
Baltimore Ravens vs San Diego Chargers
The rivalry between the Ravens and Chargers has been extremely tight in recent years. The Chargers scored an upset twenty point victory over the Ravens last season and will need to reproduce a similar performance to win this game. The Chargers are slipping out of the playoff race and need to score some big wins in the last month and a half of the season to give themselves a chance. Buffalo Bills vs Indianapolis Colts
The Colts have dominated the recent history between these sides winning six of the last seven meetings and are well favored to improve that record in week 12. The Colts have exceeded expectations this season and are well on track to qualify for the playoffs. The Bills have been disastrous in 2012 and their playoff drought (the longest current playoff drought in the NFL) is set to continue. The Colts should be able to exploit the Bills awful secondary defense and win this game easily.
Carolina Panthers vs Philadelphia Eagles
This is a very difficult game for NFL gamblers as both these sides are very inconsistent. The playoff chances of both sides are over and this game will have very little impact on the 2012 NFL season. This game will likely be decided by the personal battle between quarterbacks Michael Vick and Cam Newton; both of whom have disappointed in 2012. The Packers started the season slowly but have now returned to their 2011 form while the Giants have struggled in recent weeks. Quarterback Eli Manning has been suffering injury problems and the Giants will need him fully fit if they are going to be any chance in this match.
Houston Texans vs Detroit Lions
This is just the third meeting between these franchises. Both these sides qualified for the playoffs in 2011 but the Lions are on the cusp of missing out this year. They have been plagued by inconsistency in 2012 and need to win the majority of their remaining games to be any chance of qualifying for the playoffs. The Texans are currently the highest ranked team in the AFC and should receive a round one bye in the playoffs. Pittsburgh Steelers vs Cleveland Browns
The Pittsburgh Steelers have dominated the Cleveland Browns in recent seasons and this should continue in 2012.
