Audi Pretty Polly Stakes

Saturday is shaping up to be the most anticipated of the Irish Derby with day two featuring the Audi Pretty Polly Stakes. BetUS has posted odds on winners.
Thirteen fillies will contest the race, and as added incentive Breeder’s Cup organizers recently announced that the winner of the Pretty Polly Stakes would be granted automatic entrance into the Breeder’s Cup Filly and Mare Turf. The American tournament will take place in Santa Anita later this year, and will be filled with winners from four Irish and four English races.
The Group One race will take place this Saturday with British horses Dar Re Mi, Look Here, and Heaven Sent all close favorites to take the win. While Dar Re Mi is sitting on the best odds of 5/2, Heaven Sent’s 11/2 looks quite promising, especially since her trainer, Sir Michael Stoute, won last year’s Pretty Polly Stakes with Promising Lead.
Profound Beauty is one filly to keep an eye on. Saturday will see her return to the track after a long absence since last November’s Melbourne Cup, where she finished fifth.
The Peintre Celebre filly, Katiyra, is sitting on excellent odds to win, and her trainer John Oxx – who picked up the Pretty Polly Stakes in 1993 with Takarouna – is confident that the filly’s first race of the year will be a tight one. The four-year-old is sitting just behind favorite Dar Re Mi on the odds table.
BetUS has posted odds on all thirteen horses that have been left in at the five-day stage:
Dar Re Mi: 5/2
Katiyra: 11/4
Look Here: 3/1
Heaven Sent: 11/2
Lush Lashes: 13/2
Profound Beauty: 15/1
Beach Bunny: 18/1
Oh Goodness Me: 18/1
Roman Empress: 20/1
Aaroness: 22/1
Totally Devoted: 25/1
Chintz: 30/1
Jakarta Jazz: 33/1
There are still a few days left in the lead up to the Audi Pretty Polly Stakes, so be sure to keep a close eye on the odds. And if you are looking for an outside wager, don’t be shy; just look back to last year when Look Here took out the Juddmonte Oaks at outrageous 33/1 odds.
