Bodog is holding a unique online poker tournament series over the coming weeks that enables players to experience a WSOP type festival of poker without leaving their home or breaking the bank.
The 'Mini Series of Poker' or 'MiniSOP' is an online poker promotion that sees low-buyin tournaments running nearly every day from May 30 to July 3. The schedule mimics the Texas Hold'em tournaments being held at the World Series of Poker in Las Vegas.
The buyins are truly affordable, set at 1% of the Vegas events!
From May 30th – July 3rd players can play for cash, Tournament Credits, position on the Mini-SOP leader board and a place in the final tourney where they will compete for three 2009 WSOP Main Event seats!
The next five events are
- Wed June 4 3:05pm - $20+2 NL Hold'em
- Thu June 5 9:00pm - $15+1.50 6 Handed NL Hold'em
- Fri June 6 9:00pm - $15+1.50 Limit Hold'em
- Sat June 7 9:00pm - $25+2 NL Hold'em
- Tue June 10 9:00pm - $20+2 Limit Hold'em

Ed's Note: It's amazing how a good idea gets copied - The site that became Carbon Poker came up with this idea back in 2005 and it has spread like wildfire to all the other online poker rooms! The format is great fun, so I don't blame all the copycats! I highly recommend playing in these sorts of things to add a little extra excitement to your online poker games.
