The 2012 NFL Schedule is now well underway. There have been a record number of upsets in the season thus far and now twenty NFL teams now have a record of 1-1. This is excellent news for NFL gamblers as it means that teams are winning at big odds. There is a chance of more upsets in week 3 and Online Sportsbooks such as Bovada are offering some good odds. The team at Online Gambling has analyzed this week’s games in an attempt to find the best NFL bets. New York Giants to beat the Carolina Panthers (+111 at Bovada)
New York Giants to beat the Carolina Panthers (+111 at Bovada)
Week 3’s Thursday Night Football game will be the New York Giants vs Carolina Panthers. Both of these sides started the season 1-1. The New York Giants were very disappointing against the Dallas Cowboys in week 1 but responded with a comeback victory against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in week 2. Quarterback Eli Manning led the side to the impressive comeback and threw for 510 yards. Manning must take this form into week 3 if the Giants are going to match it with the Carolina Panthers.
The Panthers started the season with a terrible performance against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers but was far more impressive upsetting the New Orleans Saints in what was a fantastic result for NFL gamblers who took the large odds on offer at Online Sportsbooks. The Panthers ran all over the Saints with their three pronged rushing attack led by Cam Newton. They still conceded a fair few points and defense is one area the Panthers must improve if they want to be playoff contenders.
This is one game we believe that Online Sportsbooks have gotten wrong. The odds available for the Giants in this game are fantastic and we encourage all NFL gamblers to take advantage of them. Eli Manning should have no problem picking apart the Panther secondary and Jason Pierre-Paul will make sure the pressure is constantly on Cam Newton. Bet on the New York Giants to beat the Carolina Panthers at odds of +111 ($2.11) at Bovada. Atlanta Falcons to beat the San Diego Chargers (+147 at Bovada)
Atlanta Falcons to beat the San Diego Chargers (+147 at Bovada)
Qualcomm Stadium will play host to Atlanta vs San Diego Chargers this Sunday. The Falcons have been very impressive in the 2012 NFL season thus far. Their offense has looked near unstoppable and quarterback Matt Ryan is in career best form. However, it was the defense that really stood out in week 2, picking off Peyton Manning on three occasions. The Falcons are currently at good odds to win the Super Bowl at Online Sportsbooks and we encourage all NFL gamblers to place a small bet on them before these odds disappear.
The San Diego Chargers are also 2-0 but haven’t been as impressive. However, they have got the job done with the minimum amount of stress in both games and Philip Rivers appears to be in quiet good form. The Falcons are the biggest test the Chargers have faced this season and will be an excellent measure of the Chargers title aspirations this season. Running back Ryan Matthew returns for the Chargers in what is a huge boost for the team.
At odds of +147 ($2.47) to the Falcons are the best bet of the weekend at Online Sportsbooks. The Falcons defense will test Rivers and the Chargers offense and will take advantage of any poor decision making. If this turns into a shoot-out the Falcons have more offensive weapons, in Roddy White and Julio Jones, than the Chargers. All NFL gamblers should be betting on the Falcons at Bovada. Green Bay Packers to beat the spread (+3) against the Seattle Seahawks
Green Bay Packers to beat the spread (+3) against the Seattle Seahawks
Green Bay Packers vs Seattle Seahawks is the Monday Night Football game for this week. Both sides bounced back with wins in week 2 to have their records sitting at 1-1. The Green Bay Packers defense played incredibly well against the Chicago Bears. It was easily their best defensive performance in years and if they consistently perform that well the Packers will be very difficult to beat. Unfortunately Aaron Rodgers and the offense did not perform as well. Rodgers has had a slow start to the season and will look to explode against the Seattle Seahawks.
Marshawn Lynch was the star in the Seattle Seahawks vs Dallas Cowboys game last Sunday. The running back accounted for almost half the Seahawks offensive production and scored a touchdown in the process. The Seahawks defense was strong once again and can now be considered elite. How they handle Rodgers and the Packers numerous receiving options will show how good they really are. Rookie quarterback Russell Wilson is still developing and completed 75% of his passes against the Cowboys. However, he will need to take more risks if the Seahawks are going to hang with the Packers in week 3.
If the Packers offense finds its form they should win this game comfortably. Even if they have another average game it should be enough to get them home and beat the spread of 3 points. At their current odds the Packers are excellent value to beat the spread at Online Sportsbooks.
