The first month of the 2012 NCAA College Football season has been completed. The Ducks have won their games by an average of 34.5 points this season and they should improve on this figure against Washington State. If he can reproduce those numbers against West Virginia the Bears are a chance of causing an upset.
West Virginia also has a high powered offense with quarterback Geno Smith considered a legitimate Heisman Trophy candidate in 2012. They are currently the third best passing team in NCAA football and their running attack has looked dangerous at times. The one question mark looming over the Mountaineers is how their defense will handle taking on a star studded offense?
