Starting with a clean sweep of Kansas City in a 4 game away series, the Twins have gone on to defeat the Cleveland Indians 2-1 and the Texas Rangers 3-1 as well. They are next set to take on the Chicago White Sox, whom they defeated twice already this season, so it is looking likely that they’ll continue their winning ways for the rest of the week at least.

Now, Francisco Liriano’s occasionally impressive pitching has seen him effectively suppressing the opposing offense when he takes the mound. The whole pitching staff seems to have improved and thankfully they are avoiding reliance on the team’s fielding abilities, which have proven to be unreliable at best.
