Connecticut (3) Vs. San Diego State (2).

This is the closest match of the sweet 16 in terms of betting. San Diego are at +1 in line betting while it is an even -110 for both teams in head to head betting. If the betting is anything to go by, the Aztecs and Huskies will battle down to the wire.

BYU (3) Vs. Florida (2).

Under the guidance of NCAA leading scorer Jimmer Freddette, Brigham Young University continue their run, and will meet a fired up Florida outfit fresh off a commanding 12 point victory against UCLA. The Cougars will need every one of Jimmer’s 28.5 points per game if they are going to overcome the Gators, who have shown rock solid form in the tournament thus far.

Bookmakers see this as a free flowing high scoring game, with the total points market set at 149.5, the highest of any sweet 16 match. BYU have a 2.5 point start in spread betting while Florida are slight favorites in head to head betting, currently ranked at -140.

Butler (8) Vs. Wisconsin (4)

Butler enters the last 16 following a stunning one point win over number one seed Pittsburgh. That came after a two point win over Old Dominion in the opening round. The Eight seeds have proven their ability in clutch games and meet a Wisconsin team high on confidence after defeating Kansas State.

Butler are +4 point underdogs in spread betting while Wisconsin are rated -190 in head to head betting. This is also tipped to be a tight, low scoring affair with the total game score set at just 124 points, the lowest of any game in the sweet 16.

Kansas U (1) Vs. Richmond (12)

Richmond are the biggest underdogs in the 2011 sweet 16. After a three point win over Vanderbilt in round one, and a 17 point demolition of Morehead State in round two, the Spiders meet a Kansas U side that many have penciled into the final four. The Jayhawks have lost just two games this year, and enter the match as commanding favorites.

Richmond are receiving a 10.5 point start in spread betting, while Kansas are a skinny -700 in head to head markets.
