Fulham teams up with Bodog
Author: TheDoctor1 Sep
In a massive development for both football and gambling, Bodog Europe has announced that they have signed a three-year sponsorship deal with English Premiership outfit Fulham F.C. The move will allow Bodog Europe to be the club’s Official Betting and Gaming Partner.
Managing Director of Bodog Europe, Keith McDonnell, had this to say:
“We are absolutely thrilled to kick off what we are certain will become a long-standing partnership with Fulham. During our discussions, it quickly became apparent that we share an unquenchable passion for football, but also a deep commitment to the service and entertainment of our fans and customers. We think it’s a perfect fit.”
Chief Executive of Fulham F.C., Alistair Mackintosh, went on to add:
“Since our arrival in the Premier League in 2001, the Club has made significant strides in the field culminating in last season’s record finishing position of 7th. This new alliance with Bodog Europe reaffirms the Club’s ambitions off the field and I am therefore delighted to welcome Bodog Europe as Fulham F.C.’s Official Betting and Gaming Partner. I am excited at the prospect of developing a mutually successful relationship during this and coming seasons.”
The sponsorship deal includes perimeter advertising at Fulham’s home ground, Craven Cottage, as well as across print media and their official website, Fulham F.C.. In addition, Bodog Europe will be offering several betting services to Fulham’s member database, as well as anyone who wishes to sign up through Bodog Europe’s website.
Will Twitter Sellout?
Author: TheDoctor15 Jul
It seems that everyone can’t stop talking about Twitter. Personally, I’m pretty interested to see what the next social networking craze will be and when it will occur. We’ve already been through the biggest two: Myspace and Facebook, and there doesn’t seem to be any let up from either of those two Internet giants.
To be honest, though, I’ve always wondered how Twitter became so popular. I mean it’s ultimately just a way of telling people – who really don’t care… no really; they don’t – what you are doing at this exact moment in time. But before you start pummeling me with hateful words that might just make me cry, I must confess that I have found the reason why you folk love it so much. Last night I was randomly searching through programs on Ustream when I came across the Holy Grail of Awesome: Mario Marathon. I now understand that Twitter is not simply a social updating annoyance, but a gateway into conversing with gods, who are – in my case – Mario addicts.
BetUS has posted some great odds for the current Twitter saga, and they’re all to do with what is likely to become one of the most expensive takeovers in social networking history – if it happens, of course. BetUS has a wager in favor of a takeover by the end of June 2010 at +250 odds, which I think is pretty good considering the amount of money being thrown around by these companies.
Some other wagers on offer include who will get the most monthly traffic between Facebook and Twitter, and Myspace and Twitter, as well as which corporation will take out the majority stake in the Twitter company.
So check them all out at BetUS; there are quite a few interesting Futures on offer.

It’s good to hear that security is tight. I also didn’t know their tribal name is pronounced “Gah-nah-WAH-gay”! I’ve been saying it wrong for years!
